The first iteration of the AARC Blueprint Architecture (AARC-BPA-2016) was published in Summer 2016. This version was superseded in 2017 by the current version of the Blueprint Architecture.
The AARC-BPA-2016 described four high level component layers:
- the User Identities layer,
- the Attribute Enrichment layer,
- the Translation layer and
- the End Services layer
