The AARC project will officially start on the 1st of May.

There is a lot of interest in this project among the represented communities and possibly beyond. Although the focus may be slightly different for each of the communities, it is clear that the following aspects are relevant for all:
– increase the penetration of federated access at institution level by offering ready to use solutions;
– enrich the current service portfolio available at federation level to add (commercial) services that relevant for the communities represented in AARC
– develop a rich training package to address different user-communities
– pilot components to integrate the existing AAIs and test the introduction in production services of new policy frameworks developed in AARC.

We look forward to two year of intense work!
